Blueberry Swirl Cake

Blueberry Swirl Cake

Yield: 6 loaf cakes @ 400g
You will also need 420g of Aldia blueberry fruit filling to pipe into the cakes before baking

 

Method:

  • Mix all ingredients in a planetary mixer for 1 minute slow and 3 minutes medium speed using flat beater.
  • Deposit 400g in a loaf cake tin (with greaseproof case).
  • Pipe 70g of Aldia blueberry fruit filling into each cake and create a swirl using a table knife.
  • Insert a plastic scraper that has been greased into the top of the batter to make a line in the centre and then remove (this will ensure a central burst whilst the cake is baking).
  • Bake at 180°c for 50-60 minutes (approx)
  • Cool slightly and tip from tin, cool on a wire rack.
