Pink for Peace fundraising

team culture of resilience, empathy and unity

Zeelandia UK team raise £800 for 'Pink for Peace' day fundraiser

At Zeelandia UK, we care about our people. Be it our staff, consumers or the local communities we are part of, we encourage a culture of resilience, empathy and unity.

In a recent team event, staff members dressed in pink to support the fundraising appeal Peace In Mind, launched by colleague Esther Ghey, in memory of her daughter Brianna who was killed in February.

The fundraising campaign, set up in partnership with The Warrington Guardian, aims to raise funds to deliver mindfulness in schools training to teachers across Warrington, who can use their learning to support pupils.

It is hoped that by offering mindfulness in schools training to teachers, pupils will have increased access to wellbeing support, with mindfulness also cited as an effective way to support concentration, emotional development and behaviour in the classroom.

Our team were delighted to support Esther, engaging in a ‘Pink for Peace’ day for Brianna's Birthday, with internal fundraising efforts, including a hotpot team lunch. In total, a donation of £800 has been made to the fundraiser.
